Alien Vs. Preditor (AVP) is the first in the Alien and Preditor series to be rated PG-13. The story begins when a satillite
flying over Antartica picks up an unidentified heat surce that hadn'e been there 24 hours before. A team of experts is formed
by a wealthy old man names Weyland. He convinces them to go to this heat source (which they now have determined to be a temple
hundreds of feet below the surface) and explore it. Little do they know they are falling for a trap. Strange things begin
to happen. While exploring an abandoned whale town for a place to start drilling they come across a huge hole, with a "perfect"
30' diameter that hadn't been there 24hrs. ago... Thinking nothing of it, the majority of the team makes their way to the
bottom to explore this amazing temple only to get in the middle of a war. As the plot unravels many liked characters become
victims and it seems they are all doomed until one person realizes, "My enemy's enemy is my friend..."
Though is seems to get a little corny near the end, the killer graphics and thrills of this movie have earned it a high
rating.
