Fairie's World
The Village

There are things that go bump in the night...

M. Night Shyamalan (one of my fav. directors) sets the scene of an old village surrounded by woods, and stays out of them because of those they do not speak of. The main character is a girl (Ivy Walker) that is blind and is now available for any who want to marry her. She already has her "eye" on nice young man while another longs for her. After a horrible accident, the man of her dreams is terribly hurt and she determined that a village outside there boarders has medicine that can help him. Everyone is hesitant to let her go, as those do not speak of stay in their woods if they stay out of them...

Built up to be a thriller but in the end just a good story with a (what I thought to be) predictable twist that makes it so you can only "enjoy" it once.
