I was at a forests edge, rumor said there was an axe murder that lived inside, but I was determined to find out myself.
A gust of wind came from within the forest. I heard noises as if big things were hitting against the trees. I looked a little
harder and saw people, my friends hung from the outer trees, their bodies flailing around in the wind. I clapped my hands
to my mouth, in pour shock, but I was going to go in anyways. As I walked through the first few feet of the trees of this forest
there were bodies hanging here and there...headless bodies, some I didn't know and some I knew too well. I continued on. Every
now and then I would hear a twig snap and jump , but then shake it off. I had a feeling as if someone was breathing down my
neck, but I knew there was no one there. I finally came across a small hut in the middle of the woods. There was smoke emitting
from the chimney and a stump with an axe stuck in it to the side. I headed straight for the door, shaking all over. My trembling
hand reached for the door knob and slowly turned it. I cautiously opened the door. Once it was open I saw no one inside, mainly
because the building was so dark, but a few seconds later something fell, and dangled in the door way. I screamed behind
shaken hands as my best friend's corpse dangled in front of me, head still attached. I backed off, surely the mad man had
heard my suppressed scream. I turned around to run only into the psycho himself. He grabbed my arms and twisted them behind
my back, I violently moved about, trying to get free, but his grip tightened the more I moved. He was taking me towards the
axe, which I could now see was covered in blood. "They always squirm down to the last moment." He whispered in my ear. I let
out another blood curdling scream, hoping someone would hear me. "They always do that too, but time has told how much that
helps." I tried to kick him, nothing seemed to work, I finally planted my weight to ground, refusing to move, so he started
to drag me instead, but I bit him as he switched positions. He let go of me, screaming holding up a now four fingered hand.
I spit out his finger, feeling as if I was going to barf and ran. Ran through the forest with all my might. I could hear him
running behind me. He wasn't going to give up. Branches and bushes I pushed out of my way, the edge of the forest had to be
near, the dangling headless bodies were once again surrounding me. I tripped and fell to the ground. I heard the mans heavy
breathing getting ever closer. I froze with fear. "Come out come out where ever you are." He called out into the death ridden
trees. I held my breath, and began to crawl through the bushes. "I know you're in here, NO ONE has EVER escaped me...and mark
my words brat...you are NOT going to be the first" I decided to get up and run but as soon as I stood I was pulled back to
the ground, he had grabbed my ankle. I looked back at him, fear filled my eyes as he said, "Gotcha" I heard a scream filling
my head, though I was emitting none, it grew into a higher and higher pitch as we stared into each others eyes. I heard my
breath growing rapid and afraid, I soon could see nothing but his eyes, hear nothing but the high pitched scream, and feeling
nothing but my breath, I inhaled and then woke up.
